A psychic has joined in the search for answers into the disappearance of Cori Baker.  The 13-year-old girl has been missing since November.  Investigators suspect her sister's boyfriend, Marquis Bullock, killed Cori. He's charged with murder, but her body hasn't been found.  News On 6 anchor Craig Day reports Baker's family now hopes a psychic can lead them to her.

In the three months since Cori Baker disappeared, 200 separate searches by 1,800 volunteers have failed to find her body.

The family has now turned to Jeff Baker who says he is a spiritual psychic and can communicate with the dead.

"They clue me in and there are articles of clothing, possessions that they have that I use to get in contact with them, as well as the emotions of the family," said Jeff Baker.

Baker, who's not related to the family, was asked to come to Tulsa by Cori Baker's father to try to locate the teen's body.

"There's a spot down here that I had a small hit earlier," said Jeff Baker.

He says he's already talked with Cori Baker.

"She's given me some places to look.  A little bit about herself and how she was," said Jeff Baker.

Baker came to Oklahoma to try to find the body of 6-year-old Logan Tucker in Woodward County.  Authorities say Baker developed interesting leads there, but didn't find anything of significance.

Critics are skeptical of Baker's supernatural claims.

"People also think that I'm pandering or conning people out of money, but unfortunately these people don't know I don't charge anything," said Jeff Baker.  "Healthy skepticism is great.  I'm skeptical of most people that do what I do, because there are a lot of con artists out there, but I'm not one of them."

While Baker acknowledges there are many people who are very skeptical of his claims, he says there are many people who are willing to give it a shot.  He says in the four days that he's been in Oklahoma, he's been asked to look into 32 separate missing person and murder cases.

For now, he's concentrating on Baker's disappearance.

Over the next few days he hopes to provide something for a family desperate for answers.

"You bring a little bit of closure, but it's something that will always haunt these families," said Jeff Baker.

Critics also have concerns that a psychic can provide false hope.  But Cori Baker's dad, Daniel says he's open minded about using a psychic.

There is a $5,000 reward being offered in the Cori Baker case.  Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
