No State Income Tax On Rebate Check

Oklahomans will get an added bonus to the economic stimulus plan. On Monday, the state tax commission said Oklahomans will not have to pay state income taxes on the rebate checks President Bush has promised.

Congress passed the stimulus plan last week and the President is supposed to sign it into law Wednesday. Most taxpayers can expect a $600 check sometime this summer and $1,200 for couples, plus, $300 for each child.
