Man Leads Police In Pursuit

A man leads Tulsa police on a high speed chase Thursday afternoon. Officers began pursuing the man near 6^th and Lewis. He led officers to Admiral where he got onto I-244 eastbound.  Officers followed as the suspect exited onto Highway 11.

The pursuit continued westbound on Highway 11 until the suspect exited at Sheridan. He continued to Pine and then went westbound. Officers deployed stop sticks at the intersection of Admiral and Yale. That flattened the driver's side front tire.

The suspect continued driving until he pulled into an alley near 5^th Place and Atlanta Avenue where he surrendered to police.

Officers say he was driving a stolen vehicle and will likely face some other misdemeanor charges.
