Tulsa Gang Member Receives Two Death Sentences

A jury came back with two death sentences for Phillip Summers on Tuesday.  Summers is a Tulsa gang member who murdered the parents of a rival gang member.  Ples and Shelly Vann were shot to death in their home two years ago. 

On January 31, 2008, jurors convicted Summers on two counts of first degree murder.  The jury reached the verdict in a little more than three hours.
