A Tulsa Police officer had to get stitches after a scuffle with a suspect involved in a disturbance overnight. Police officers were called to a home at 11th and Quincy where a couple had been arguing.
The man was armed with a knife and ax, when officers arrived. Tulsa Police officers ordered the man to drop the weapons and as they tried to handcuff him, the suspect bit an officer on the hand. The injury required stitches.
The suspect was also injured in the scuffle. The suspect now faces a variety of assault charges.
