As the search for Cori Baker continues, the Union intramural basketball girls are paying tribute to their teammate. On Saturday, the girls played their first game since they learned of Cori's disappearance. The team wore pink ribbons on their sleeves and painted Cori's team number on their faces. They also ironed basketball logos on to their t-shirts.
They say the logo holds the most meaning.
“Her basketball was pink and white she was really proud of it. She never ever forgot it. She brought to every practice, every game. She really loved it and she was quite a player,†said Kevin Cunningham, Cori Baker’s Basketball Coach.
During halftime, there was a moment of silence and prayer for Cori.
Cori's coach says he believes she was the best point guard in the league.
