OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The number of people killed in traffic accidents in Oklahoma this year is below 2006 numbers. The state Department of Public Safety says 608 people have died on Oklahoma roads as of Friday morning compared to 651 on this date last year.

And the department says the number of traffic fatalities so far in November is down from 29 at this time in 2006 to 20 this year.
