Tulsa Police are searching for three suspects who reportedly beat and robbed two people outside The Rose Rock Apartments Thursday evening. According to a preliminary police report, the suspects told the two victims, “Hoover Crips. This is how we do it,” during the assault. The three men reportedly fired about six rounds at the victims as the suspects fled the scene. No one was hit by the gunfire.

The two victims were seated in their vehicle at about 8:23 p.m. outside the apartment complex at 1700 S. Memorial Drive when a man asked if he could borrow a cell phone. While one of the victims gave the man a phone, two other men approached and dragged the victims from their car.

The victims were robbed at gunpoint, beaten and kicked, the police report states. The suspects took items including cash, a cell phone and wallet. The suspects fled south through the complex, firing back at the victims. The robbery victims’ injuries were non-life threatening, according to the police report.
