There are new problems for Richard Roberts. The Oral Roberts University president has now received a vote of "no confidence" from the university's tenured faculty. The resolution says the faculty approved the motion without regard to the outcome of the current lawsuit against ORU.

The document will be given to the school's Board of Regents and the faculty assembly at a meeting next Monday.

Three former professors filed a "wrongful termination lawsuit" against Roberts and ORU, alleging they were let go because they refused to use staff and students to work on a Tulsa mayoral candidate's campaign. The three former professors also accuse Richard Roberts of misspending funds to support a lavish lifestyle.

ORU has not commented on the “no confidence” vote.
