NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams have left the ranks of winless teams in the NFL. The Rams are now 1-and-8 after a 37-29 win over New Orleans. Rams quarterback Marc Bulger finished with 302 yards passing and two touchdown passes. Running back Steven Jackson, recovering from a back injury, rushed for a short touchdown and passed for another.
The loss, their first in a month, drops the Saints record to 4-and-5. Had the Saints won they would have tied idle Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South.
The St. Louis win means just one team, Miami, remains winless this season.
