A special van will be traveling across eastern Oklahoma this month offering flu vaccine for children ages 6 months to 18. The Caring Van will offer flu vaccines on a first come, first serve basis. Officials say for each child immunized, a parent or guardian must be present to fill out the necessary paperwork.
The Oklahoma Caring Van Program is administered through The Oklahoma Caring Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization established by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.

Nov. 8 Oklahoma Union Schools, U.S. highway 169 & State highway 10/Nowata Co 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Nov. 9 Bank of Oklahoma, 215 State in Muskogee 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Nov. 10 Greater Grace Heath Fair, 1010 E. 56th St. N. in Tulsa 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Nov. 13 Prue Schools, 104 E. Broadway in Prue 2 – 5 p.m.
Nov. 14 Porter Schools, 120 S. Main 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Nov. 15 Oklahoma Union Schools, U.S. highway 169 & State highway 10/Nowata Co 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
