A flock of Tulsa legal eagles is lending its service to those who serve. The Tulsa County Bar Association is helping families who may need legal help. Several attorneys were on hand Tuesday night near 15th and Boston to answer questions that come up when a family member is in the military.
Lawyers say it's important someone is helping service members protect their rights while they're protecting their country.
"It's important for attorneys who are very privileged in terms of having education and having careers enabling them to be of use to undertake the responsibility to help others,†said Martha Rupp Carter, with the Tulsa County Bar Association.
Several veterans who are now members of the bar association inspired the forum.
