Families with terminally ill loved ones know what a blessing caregivers and hospice workers can be. Those workers were honored on Tuesday with a blessing ceremony. Chaplains with InFinity Care of Tulsa anointed the hands of caregivers and hospice workers.
The ceremony was held in the Vista Room at the Gilcrease Museum. Six In The Morning anchor LeAnne Taylor shared how caregivers helped her in her battle against breast cancer.
"It takes a toll on the life of the one providing the care. We really want to show appreciation to those people who are giving their lives to do that,†said Deborah Brazeal with InFinity Care of Tulsa.
November is Family National Caregiver Month and Hospice Month.
