NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The timing of Oklahoma's bye week gave the Sooners seven extra days to hear about how badly they played in a closer-than-expected win at Iowa State.
It gave OU enough time to fix it, too.
After their first four conference games were all decided in the fourth quarter, the No. 4 Sooners returned to the form that had them blowing out opponents left and right early in the season.
Coach Bob Stoops says he things everything the Sooners did was real solid in Oklahoma's 42-14 rout of Texas A&M Saturday night.
Sam Bradford was back on his game after a wind-affected performance in a 17-7 win against the last-place Cyclones. Bradford tied the school record with five touchdown passes for the second time in only nine career starts.
