Tulsa Technology Center is getting ready for major growth. Tulsa Tech will nearly double the size of its Broken Arrow campus. On Friday, the school broke ground on its second project in a long-range master plan to improve the center at 4600 South Olive. The 240,000 square foot expansion will focus on future skilled technicians entering the transportation industry, and it will offer 13 new full time programs of study.
"Programs like automotive service technology, auto body collision and repair, medium and heavy duty truck repair, motorcycle and small engine, we will even have an alternative fuels lab in the building," Gene Callahan of Tulsa Technology Center said.
The project will take about 18 months and $32 million to complete.
