Oklahoma's largest school district reaches out to students in Mounds in the wake of a devastating school fire. Flames destroyed the Mounds Elementary School a little more than a week ago. Tulsa Public School employees have now organized a supply drive to help recover some of what was lost.

“We're hoping to fill two van loads of supplies that we can drive down to Mounds. And, this will just make a convenient drop off point for people in our community to bring those supplies,” said Tracy Kounds with Tulsa Public Schools.

Donations can be dropped off at the Selman Room at the Education Service Center. Collections will be taken Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Education Service Center is located at 3027 South New Haven.
