Thousands laced up their running shoes for the Tulsa Run on Saturday morning.

The 30th annual race swept through the streets of Tulsa. The winner was 28-year-old Mark Thompson of Edmond. This wasnâ€™t his first time in the event. Thompson was ranked in the top five back in 2005.

Twenty-eight of the runners have taken part in the Tulsa Run every year since it began in 1977,
