A man attacks a Tulsa police officer. It happened around 2:30 Saturday morning near 1300 North Yale. Police were at that location to respond to a disturbance call. When officers arrived they found a half-naked man running through the street. When police tried to arrest him, he put up a fight. He reportedly even grabbed one officer’s baton.

The man wasn’t taken into custody until back-up arrived.

"It was a scary situation but certainly the officers showed a lot of restraint. Um, there was very minimal injury to the suspect so the officers did a really good job,” said Tulsa Police Sergeant Ryan Perkins.

The suspect faces charges of felony assault and public intoxication.
