DOVER, Del. (AP) -- A judge has raised bail for the Delaware State University shooting suspect after one of the two victims died.
Loyer Braden appeared by video from Delaware Correctional Center at Wednesday's bail hearing. The judge increased the amount from $92,000 to $192,000.
Prosecutors are expected to seek a murder charge against him. The 18-year-old freshman is being held on charges including attempted murder and assault.
The woman who died was a 17-year-old cheerleader and freshman biology major from Washington, D.C. She had been hospitalized since September 21st after being shot in the abdomen.
Another student from Washington was shot in the ankle.
