SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) -- A Sand Springs man is dead following a one-vehicle crash on State Highway 97 near Sand Springs in Osage County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Ronald Stecker died in the crash just before 11:30 Tuesday night.

Troopers say Stecker was northbound when his pickup truck went off the roadway and high a dirt embankment then rolled onto its top.

Investigators say Stecker wasn't wearing a seat belt and was partly thrown from the truck and pinned underneath it.
