One person is hospitalized, another taken into police custody after an assault with a hammer.

Tulsa police say a man was involved in an argument when he was hit in the face with a hammer. It happened at the Falls Apartments at 61st and Memorial around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim was taken to the hospital; police say he will be okay. The person suspected of the assault was taken into police custody for questioning.
