SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A globe that once belonged to Adolf Hitler is going up for auction.
A U.S. soldier found the keepsake in the wreckage of Hitler's mountain stronghold days after the end of World War II.
He is also auctioning off all the military paperwork that allowed him to bring it back to the U.S., including a certificate that reads "1 Global Map, German, Hitler's Eagle Nest."
The son of the now 91-year-old soldier says his dad is selling it now, after more than half a century, so he can personally tell the story and share his experience in the war.
It's expected to go for $15,000 to $20,000 when it is auctioned in San Francisco next month.
