A Tulsa County District Court judge has sentenced a Sapulpa man to 9 years in prison for his role in a bank robbery earlier this year. 20-year-old Tyler Jacobs pleaded guilty to robbing a "Bank of America" branch on July 30 in south Tulsa.

As part of the deal, Jacobs also gets 6 years of probation.

Prosecutors say Jacobs handed a teller a note demanding money. Jacobs implied in that note that he was armed, but no weapon was seen.
