BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) -- A Bartlesville man is dead after a one-car crash just south of the city.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Garrett Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of Sundayâ€™s crash.

The patrol says Brown was northbound on U.S. 75 when his car ran off the road and went airborne before slamming into a rock. The accident happened shortly before noon Sunday.

Brown was pinned in the wreckage for about 45 minutes. The patrol says he was wearing his seat belt.
