OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The public has been invited to attend a meeting on an Environmental Protection Agency Superfund Site in Collinsville.

The EPA and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality will discuss the Tulsa Fuel and Manufacturing site in Collinsville Thursday night at the Collinsville City Hall.

The site is a 60-acre abandoned zinc smelter that operated from 1914 to 1925.

Between 2005 and 2006, DEQ identified the type and extent of contamination and the risks to human health.

The agencies are inviting public comment on the site.
