UNDATED (AP) -- There are eight games on this evening's NHL slate.

New Jersey begins its season-opening nine-game road trip at Tampa Bay. They're still putting the finishing touches on the Devils' new arena in Newark.

Free agent acquisitions Chris Drury and Scott Gomez make their debuts for the Rangers when New York hosts Florida.

The rest of the schedule has Toronto skating at Ottawa, Nashville hosting Colorado, Chicago at Minnesota, Edmonton home to San Jose, Phoenix entertaining St. Louis and Philadelphia at Calgary.
