STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State basketball coach Sean Sutton is hiring East Carolina associate head coach Chris Ferguson as an assistant with the Cowboys.

Ferguson spent the past two seasons at East Carolina and the eight years before that as an assistant at Tennessee.

He has also coached at Virginia Tech and at UNC-Asheville.
