Five kids are injured at the Tulsa State Fair. Officials with the Department of Labor say the children were hurt on the Wildcat rollercoaster near Kiddie Land. It happened just before 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds, located one block west of the corner of 21st and Yale.

The Oklahoma Department of Labor closed the ride to investigate the accident. Inspectors determined it was caused by operator error. The rollercoaster was reopened about an hour after it was closed.

Two kids were treated at the scene; EMSA says it took three other children to a Tulsa hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The Tulsa State Fair runs until Sunday, October 7. For more information on the fair, click here.
