STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ A newspaper in Texas is reporting Sam Houston State coach Todd Whitten is indicating he may rest some of his starters during Saturday's game at Oklahoma State.
Whitten says he always wants to win but staying healthy is also a prime concern for the Bearkatz as they get ready to start their conference season.
Sam Houston State is quarterbacked by former Oklahoma quarterback Rhett Bomar and will play the Cowboys starting at 6 p.m. Saturday in Stillwater.
