BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) -- A Washington County Emergency Operation Center volunteer is accused of making threats and assaulting a man while posing as a law officer. Billy Tom Vaughan was arrested after a man told authorities Vaughan followed him to his home near Bartlesville and had a badge and a gun and said he worked for the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The man says Vaughan knocked him to the ground and threatened to kill him.

In a separate incident a woman says Vaughan followed her to a service station and said he was a canine officer and threatened "to put his dog on her."
