Escapee Captured With Five Others Arrested

The Northeast Oklahoma Fugitive Task Force has arrested 26-year-old Mexican National Adaan Ibarra. The search ended Sunday evening and that is not all. The News On 6 has learned there was a complicated plot to originally get Ibarra released from the Tulsa County jail.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office tells The News On 6 that Ibarra switched identities with another jail inmate and was released on bond Saturday night.

He was originally arrested on drug charges and was being held for immigration officers.

Additionally, Tulsa Police have now arrested five other individuals, police officers say are involved in the complicated plot to spring Ibarra from the Tulsa County jail.
