Next Court Date Set For Murder Suspect

A Tulsa murder suspect now has a public defender and knows when his next court appearance will be. A Tulsa County District Court judge entered a not guilty plea for Martinez Williams during a video arraignment

A Tulsa murder suspect now has a public defender and knows when his next court appearance will be. A Tulsa County District Court judge entered a not guilty plea for Martinez Williams during a video arraignment Thursday morning. Williams is accused of killing Stefan Schlemme in his family's backyard near 7th and Zurich during a robbery last Tuesday.

Williams was arrested the next day. Williams' preliminary hearing is set for November 7. He remains in the Tulsa County jail, where he is being held without bond.
