NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma strong safety D.J. Wolfe is bothered this week by a quadriceps strain but coaches say he shouldn't be limited by the injury.
Co-defensive coordinator Bobby Jack Wright says Darien Williams and Dominque Franks are both getting extra work at strong safety in case of an emergency.
Williams is a senior who started last season at free safety. He’s trying to recover from two off-season surgeries and played strong safety during last week's win over Utah State. Franks is a freshman.
