An accident on I-44 in Tulsa overnight caused a few traffic problems. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver of a semi headed eastbound near 145th East Avenue apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

An accident on I-44 in Tulsa overnight caused a few traffic problems. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver of a semi headed eastbound near 145th East Avenue apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The semi went off the road and the semi wound up on its side.
The driver wasn't hurt.
Crews spent several hours transferring the contents of the truck to another semi.
And some Good Samaritans help Tulsa Police when a suspected drunk driver involved in a head on collision tries to leave the scene Thursday evening.
Police say the suspect slammed into another vehicle at 41st and Lewis and tried to take off. Witnesses told Tulsa Police, they saw what happened and chased the suspect down. Among the witnesses was an off-duty police officer. The officer handcuffed the man and held him until other police officers arrived.
Two other people involved in the accident were taken to a Tulsa hospital. Police say both will be okay.
