Tulsa Police are asking for help in locating a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting overnight. Police say a 28-year-old man was killed inside an east Tulsa bar, late Thursday night. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Thursday at Torchy's Briar Patch Lounge at 11th Street and 124th East Avenue.
Police say witnesses have identified 22-year-old Brandon Brown as the suspect who pulled out a handgun and shot another man in the lounge. Tulsa Police say the victim was shot in the neck and died at the scene. After the shooting, witnesses told police officers, Brown fled the lounge.
Brown could possibly be driving a white four-door car, which resembles an Impala.
The victim, identified by Tulsa Police as Jeremiah Francis, is Tulsa’s 48th homicide of the year.
If you have any information on where Brown is, Tulsa Police ask that you call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. As always, you can remain anonymous.
