Construction may alter Rogers County motorists as they drive to and from work. Construction crews are about to begin work on removing and replacing two bridges on state highway 66 at Mossey Creek.

The bridges are on the southbound side, about 5 miles north of the I-44 junction between the communities of Catoosa and Verdigris. The plan is to raise the lanes to the level of the northbound lanes.

In the meantime, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation is rerouting traffic to one lane both ways.

The project should be finished next spring.
