OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Three people died in accidents over the Labor Day weekend, less than a third of last year's death toll.
Over the weekend, two people were killed in vehicle accidents and one person was killed in a boating crash, according to the patrol's records.
During the same time period in 2006, 10 people were killed in vehicle accidents. For Labor Day weekend 2005, there were a total of nine vehicle-related fatalities and two fatal boating accidents, according to patrol figures.
No drowning deaths were reported at lakes across the state over the weekend, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's lake division.
