NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Five Oklahoma natives are nominees for Country Music Association Awards this year.

Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood are nominees for female vocalist of the year with Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride.

Rascal Flatts with Picher native Joe Don Rooney are nominated as entertainer of the year with George Strait, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban.

Vince Gill is nominated for album of the year and is a nominee with Kraus for musical event of the year.

Duo Brooks & Dunn with Tulsan Ronnie Dunn are nominated for vocal duo of the year.

The CMA Awards are scheduled for November 7th in Nashville, Tennessee.
