The Oklahoma Blood Institute is preparing for this Labor Day weekend with its second annual Pig-nic in South Tulsa. Thanks to the Oklahoma Pork Council and the Oklahoma City Zoo, you can enjoy some great barbeque and maybe save someone's life.
The Oklahoma Blood Institute says it's important to keep a good supply of all blood types, but it's even more important during a holiday weekend when more people are on the road.
You can grab dinner, and give blood Thursday night until 6 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the OBI Tulsa Center located at 4601 East 81st Street.
