EDMOND, Okla. (AP) _ A Dallas-area man may be trading scrubs for an orange prison jumpsuit. Oklahoma investigators say Kenneth Wayne Cox posed as a doctor to try to scam a woman out of a $30,000 Rolex watch at an Edmond, Oklahoma, hospital.

The 52-year-old Mesquite, Texas, man was free on $2,000 bail after he was chared in a similar case in December. Now, Edmond police say they'll ask for a new charge of attempting to obtain property under false pretense after the incident at Edmond Medical Center.

Edmond police say a 60-year-old woman contacted them and advised that a man identifying himself as a physician answered a newspaper ad to sell her watch. Investigators began searching for similar scams in other states and found that Cox had been charged in Little Rock, Arkansas, after a similar theft three years ago. Police arranged to be on hand for the meeting the woman arranged and made the arrest.
