TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The Tulsa Drillers enter this baseball season's final homestand looking to make a bid to qualify for the Texas League playoffs.
The Drillers will host the Arkansas Travelers in a four-game series starting Tuesday night and will end the season with three games at Drillers Stadium against the Wichita Wranglers.
Tulsa is three-and-one-half games behind division-leading Springfield. The Drillers can qualify for the playoffs in two ways. The most obvious is by winning the North Division title.
The other playoff path for the Drillers involves division rival Springfield, which won the first-half division title. If the Cardinals also win the second-half title, the second playoff bid from the division will go to the team with the best overall season record.
Tulsa has a three-game lead over Arkansas in that race.
