Oklahoma Adds Four More Non-Conference Foes

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma moved closer to finalizing its men's basketball schedule on Monday, announcing games against four additional non-conference foes.

The additions to the Sooners' schedule were home games against Alcorn State on Nov. 12, Morehead State on Nov. 21, Stephen F. Austin on Dec. 8 and Mount St. Mary's on Jan. 7.

Oklahoma is awaiting word of its opponents in the season opening College Hoops Classic. The Sooners are expected to host games Nov. 8 and 9 at the Lloyd Noble Center, with the opportunity to advance to the semifinals in New York City. Connecticut, Kentucky and Memphis are the 16-team tournament's other three regional hosts.

The Sooners previously announced that they would play non-conference games against Gonzaga, Southern California, West Virginia, Tulsa, Arkansas, Rice and TCU.

Kansas State will visit Norman for the Sooners' Big 12 Conference opener on Jan. 12.

The schedule also features exhibition games against Rockhurst College on Oct. 31 and Fayetteville State on Nov. 2.
