STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ As Oklahoma State prepares to open the season Saturday at 13th-ranked Georgia an injured Cowboy has a gesture of goodwill from the Bulldogs.
Georgia coach Mark Richt heard of the injury to OSU receiver Artrell Woods and had all the Bulldogs players sign a football. Richt then sent the ball and a best-wishes card to Woods.
Woods severely injured his back during a weightlifting session in July.
Richt says while football is competitive all the players and coaches are kindred spirits.
OSU and Georgia kickoff Saturday afternoon at 5:45 in Athens.
