TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Tulsa's Paul Smith was one of 35 college quarterbacks named to the watch list for the Davey O'Brien Award Tuesday.

The award is given annually to college football's top quarterback.

Smith enters his senior year in second place on Tulsa's career passing list. He has thrown for 5,871 yards and 36 touchdowns in three seasons with the Golden Hurricane.
