GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Rookie Brandt Snedeker has won for the first time on the PGA Tour, closing with a 9-under-63 for a two-shot victory at the Wyndham Championship.

The 26-year-old finished at 22-under-par and pockets a 900-thousand dollar winner's check.

Tim Petrovic, Jeff Overton and Billy Mayfair tied for second.

Snedeker took the lead for good by rolling in a 32-foot putt for birdie on the 17th hole.
