A Tulsa teenager has his vehicle carjacked overnight by suspects who Tulsa Police say could be responsible for a series of crimes. It started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday as the teen sat in a SUV listening to music near 31st and Mingo. The teen told police officers two men with their faces covered pulled out a long blue revolver and took the SUV from him. Police say the suspects then drove off.
Police officers responding to the call, say they spotted the suspects pulling into a nearby apartment complex blocks away from the crime scene. The suspects jumped out of the moving SUV and ran off. The SUV then crashed into two other vehicles in the apartment complex parking lot.
Police say a police canine officer tracked one of the suspects to an apartment where the suspect was arrested on outstanding warrants.
