OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Federal officials have approved $12 million in aid for Oklahomans affected by flooding and other severe weather this year, officials said Monday. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has made $6.2 million in individual assistance available and $5.8 million in low-interest disaster loans have been approved by the Small Business Administration for residents and businesses, Department of Emergency Management officials said in a news release.
Registrations show 2,687 seeking individual assistance, officials said. Disaster Recovery Centers have been visited by 1,983 people and 1,531 home inspections have been completed, officials said.
