BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) -- Bail is set a $500,000 for a Bartlesville man who's under arrest for possessing explosives as a felon. Bartlesville Police say 25-year-old James Glenn Myers was taken into custody after pipe bombs were found in his home.
Myers returns to court Friday. He has previous convictions in Washington County for knowingly withholding stolen property. He also faces a felony charge for alleged possession of methamphetamine.
Myers' mother, Janice Watts, told police she had decided to kick Myers out of the house and was packing his belongings when she found two pipe bombs.
Watts says Myers made a pipe bomb about a month ago and then threatened to use it on himself. He had told her he would get rid of it.
Investigators removed the pipe bombs and searched the home.
