A Tulsa man is scheduled to appear in a Canadian court Friday to face child pornography charges following a seizure at the Canada-U.S. border. Canadian border patrol agents stopped 59-year-old Kent Laughlin’s truck entering Canada at the Port of Lansdowne on Monday.
Agents say after searching Laughlin's truck, they found a laptop computer and CD-ROMs that allegedly contained images of child sexual abuse. Laughlin was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Laughlin has been charged with possessing, importing and accessing child pornography.
