NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma will play Notre Dame in college football.
O-U athletic director Joe Castiglione and Notre Dame associate athletic director John Heisler both confirm the Sooners and Fighting Irish will play in 20-12 and 20-13.
Castiglione declined comment until the contract is signed.
The agreement calls for Notre Dame to play in Norman in 20-12 and the Sooners going to South Bend, Indiana, the following year.
O-U and the Irish have played nine times in the past with Notre Dame winning eight including a 7-nothing win in 1957 to snap the Sooners' record 47-game winning streak.
The last time the two played was in 1999 when Notre Dame rallied from a 30-to-14 third quarter deficit to win 34-to-30.
